After They Moved to the City, Phillip and Sadie Never Felt Quite at Ease When They Visited the Forest

Phillip and Sadie grew up in the forest, but even before they moved, they felt like outsiders. They never enjoyed the night time flights of their kinfolk. They despised the taste of raw mouse and dreamed of sitting down at a table for a dinner of pasta or steak. They dreamed of tall buildings. Instead of spending their days sleeping, they longed to visit museums.
In their new home of the city, they were considered a bit strange, but their oddity was not only accepted but embraced. New friends loved to hear stories of their childhood spent in the forest. Few other city inhabitants had lived in the forest. But now, when they visit their families in the forest, they feel more uncomfortable than they ever had before.
