The Kids Were Right...

..... there are monsters under the bed! The monsters have slyly snuck out of their hiding spots and have devoured the kids.

The Mountains, The Forest and The Ocean:

A spur-of-the-moment excursion into the country can be very delightful!

The Mountains can make a person feel very little. Maybe a yeti will emerge from the snow.

Big-Foot's (or is it Big-Feet?) run ramped here in the forest. Who knows what a lucky forest explorer could see.

Here at the ocean the search is on for a sea monster or even a whale.

I like finding treasures along the shore.

The truth is I didn't see any mysterious creatures, but I did spot a person I recognized from college (which I attended in California). Actually, he was seen twice, the first time as a ranger and the second time as a hitch-hiker (and of course he was given a ride!) Coincidences like this are almost as amazing as spotting a mysterious creature!

I took the ferry home, but before the departure, I had to wait a couple of hours for the boat to arrive. The time was spent wandering around the town. Luckily for me, there was a lot too look at.

Here is the view from the ferry:

Life Inside a Shark

Here is another painting for my "Bizarre Maritime" themed paintings. I am up to twenty-five now! Seventy-five more and I will have my goal of one hundred!
